Cheers, friends! Welcome back! It’s been some kinda year, and I’m thrilled to be here enjoying a Second Glass with you again!
Quick recap: 2020 has been something else. Thanks to provincial guidelines classifying alcohol sales as an essential business, Argyle Wines was able to remain open and operating under normal business hours throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. Every day, I was so thankful to be able to go to work, make wine, and continue serving my outstanding clientele. My sincerest and heartfelt thanks to each and every customer for his/her incredible support, flexibility and compassion during this time.
A couple weeks ago, a lady came in to Argyle Wines to inquire about Christmas shopping. That is, she’d like to craft a batch of wine (30 bottles) or half-batch (15 bottles) to distribute at Christmas to friends, family, and all those who make our lives better. And really, has there ever been a time when we’ve appreciated these folks more? Your hairdresser. Garbage man. Coffee-server. Child care provider. Teacher (especially now, as everyone embarks on an unprecedented school year). Postal worker. Grocery store clerk. Doctor. Nurse. Police officer. Paramedic. Firefighter. Oh, the word count it would take to list every deserving person who kept our world from completely falling apart over this last year.
So do them a solid: Buy yourself a batch or half-batch of good-quality wine, create your own personalized, custom labels, and share a little Christmas cheer this December in thanks for their service. It’s never too early; wines take between four and eight weeks to finish.
If you’re in doubt, take comfort in this quick Q&A:
Cost? Totally budget-friendly. Even the priciest, most top-shelf wines ring in at $7 per bottle or less.
Service? Great. We love to see you, pride ourselves in exceptional customer care, and make sure your bottling experience is top-notch with our hands-on, friendly, beginning-to-end assistance. It’s easy and we always have fun!
Quality? Fabulous. My juice is sourced from the top wine-making regions of the world: Italy, France, Germany, California, Australia, Ontario and many more. The Argyle gang also has a few international awards under our belts.
No prior wine-making experience? No worries. That’s what I’m here for. I’ve tasted extensively on your behalf, and I take great pleasure in helping you navigate the choices to your perfect selection – no matter long it takes. Your satisfaction is my mission.
Thanks so much for joining me for this edition of Second Glass.
