You guys, today is the day the first of the RJS Restricted Quantities Toasting the Twenties limited edition wines hit Argyle’s shelves. I will be watching my plaza’s parking lot with a keen eye waiting for Delivery Man Dave to arrive and bring me these precious goodies!
January’s offerings include The Darb, a medium-bodied, medium-oaked, dry red blend of Bonarda and Syrah from the vineyards of Argentina, and The Caterpillar’s Kimono, an unoaked, dry, light-bodied Macabeo (white) coming to us from Spain.
Come see me tout suite to get yourself one of these premium wines. Many have been pre-sold, and the rest will sell out in a hurry. Argyle Wines’ 10th anniversary

And speaking of 2020, this year is particularly special: 2020 marks Argyle Wines’ 10th anniversary! The actual date takes place in April, and I want to treat the Argyle family with a special event at that time. Details to come.

You may have seen on Facebook back in November that I was giving the store’s front foyer a bit of an overdue facelift. Although a master painter I am not, I am so pleased with the fresh, up-to-date results and particularly the finishing touch: The beautiful sign I had custom made by Stacey, owner of local business Splendid Decor and More.
That’s another project checked off the to-do list, and man, doesn’t that always feel good?
Lastly, I want to extend a warm and hearty invitation to anyone looking to start their craft wine adventure, book wedding or other special event wine for 2020, or who is simply curious about the process to visit me at 155 Argyle Ave. in Listowel. I am absolutely thrilled with the number of new faces who have been in to visit already this year. The Argyle family grows and grows with each passing week, and new customers very quickly become friends.
Argyle is open 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday to Friday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays. You will always be greeted with a warm, welcoming smile and personalized, no-pressure assistance. See you soon!
